I was at the birth of the big round baby in these pics, and boy what a difference six months makes – look at those cheeks (and dimples and thighs and pudgy elbows)!

Thanks for a lovely summer morning to remember on this veryvery gray day.

I photographed this big buddy when he was a baber, and have enjoyed watching him grow ever bigger and more clever over time. And now he’s got a baby sis. I’ve actually known his mama since before she got married and even had him – she was a regular at HB, popping over from where she worked next door, buying the sweetest baby gifts for others. She’s one of the dearest folks I’ve met through my work at HB – and that is saying something, cause I’m so very fortunate to meet so many amazing souls. And to watch her family grow to four has been joyful.

You’ll see a bit more of this little girl in the coming months, I promise!

This buddy has been a buddy o’mine since he was bitty at Cuddlebugs. And now he’s one!!
This summer session was lovely – an early morning at a neighborhood park and at home. A little bit of playing, nursing, pouting, laughing, exploring, and even sleeping. It was quite a busy session!

Thanks for a lovely time you guys – he’s a sweet sweet buddy.

A couple of other summer sessions that didn’t make it to the blog….
I did a mini for these guys at their postpartum visit after I doula-ed for the birth of their buddy – their big girl cracked me up (yesyes the one with the sunglasses is a bit overblown, but it makes me happy and today that is good enough reason to include a pic)!!! They live in a split level, and their living room seems up in the trees – this must have been early enough in the summer that I was still appreciating such things. Funny how we take advantage of such things as leaves until they are gonegonegone (I watched leaves floating down as I walked this morn and thought “it’s WAY too early to be losing leaves” sob).

We were trying to do some backyard photos of these lovelies in their matching outfits but it was near 90 that day, even first thing in the morn. Yikes, maybe I’m not missing those sorts of temps! The mama to these pretty girls have been on the blog before – for family photos and for lovelylovely birth photos….

Today is beautiful – I’m gonna go get out into it, before fall moves in tomorrow.
